In Short
- Not released yet. As of mid-October 2026, ICMAI hasn't announced the release date for the December 2026 admit card.
- When to expect it: late November or early December 2026, roughly two weeks before the exams. In June 2026, the admit cards came out on 1 June for exams starting 11 June.
- Where: only on ICMAI's official website (icmai.in), using your registration number. Don't rely on links forwarded on WhatsApp or Telegram.
- Check every detail the day you download it. Name, photo, signature, papers and exam centre. Report any error to ICMAI immediately, not on exam day.
- December 2026 exams: Foundation on 13 December; Intermediate and Final from 10 to 17 December. The Intermediate papers are from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
- On exam day, carry a printed admit card and an original photo ID. Mobile phones and smartwatches are not allowed.
The admit card is the one document you can't sit a CMA exam without. It confirms that your exam form was accepted, tells you exactly where and when each paper is, and has to be shown at the exam hall door for every paper.
This guide covers everything about the CMA admit card for the December 2026 term: when it's expected, how to download it, what to check, what to do if something is wrong, and what to carry on exam day.
CMA Admit Card December 2026 — Expected Release
ICMAI releases the admit card for all three levels at about the same time, usually around two weeks before the first paper. ICMAI hasn't announced the December 2026 release date yet, so the timings below are based on previous terms:
| Level | Exam dates | Admit card expected |
|---|---|---|
| Foundation | 13 December 2026 | Late November or early December 2026 |
| Intermediate | 10–17 December 2026 | Late November or early December 2026 |
| Final | 10–17 December 2026 | Late November or early December 2026 |
Once it's out, download and print it the same day. Portals slow down sharply in the last few days before exams.
December 2026 Exam Schedule
ICMAI has announced the exam dates. Your admit card will show the final timings and your centre for each paper.
CMA Foundation — 13 December 2026
| Shift | Papers | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Morning | Papers 1 and 2 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon |
| Afternoon | Papers 3 and 4 | 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM |
CMA Intermediate — 10 to 17 December 2026 (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
| Date | Paper | Group |
|---|---|---|
| Thu, 10 Dec | Paper 5 — Business Laws and Ethics | Group 1 |
| Fri, 11 Dec | Paper 9 — Operations Management and Strategic Management | Group 2 |
| Sat, 12 Dec | Paper 6 — Financial Accounting | Group 1 |
| Sun, 13 Dec | Paper 10 — Corporate Accounting and Auditing | Group 2 |

| Wed, 16 Dec | Paper 8 — Cost Accounting | Group 1 |
| Thu, 17 Dec | Paper 12 — Management Accounting | Group 2 |
Because the two groups alternate, students taking one group get a free day before each paper after the first. Students taking both groups have a paper every day for eight days, so their revision has to be finished before 10 December.
CMA Final — 10 to 17 December 2026
The Final papers run over the same dates. Sources differ on the exact paper order and timings, so take them from your admit card or ICMAI's official notice, not from third-party websites.

Found a Mistake? Fix It Immediately
If anything is wrong — a misspelt name, the wrong photo, a missing group or the wrong centre — contact ICMAI's Examination Directorate the same day, using the email address or helpline listed on icmai.in. Include your registration number, a screenshot of the error and a copy of your exam form confirmation. Errors can only be corrected before the exam, so don't wait until you reach the centre.
Can't Download Your Admit Card?
- Exam form or payment incomplete: no admit card is generated if your form wasn't submitted or the fee payment didn't go through. Check your form confirmation and bank statement, then contact ICMAI with the transaction details.
- Wrong details entered: double-check your registration number. Most "not found" errors are typing mistakes.
- Website overloaded: try early in the morning or late at night, or switch to a laptop.
- Still stuck two or three days after release: email ICMAI's Examination Directorate with your registration number and exam form confirmation.
What to Carry on Exam Day
| Carry ✅ | Leave at home ❌ |
|---|---|
| Printed admit card (plus a spare copy) | Mobile phone |
| Original photo ID — Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, passport or driving licence | Smartwatch, fitness band or Bluetooth earphones |
| Blue/black pens, pencil, eraser, scale | Notes, books or loose paper |
| A simple non-programmable calculator, if your paper allows one | Scientific, programmable or phone-based calculators |
| A transparent water bottle | Bags (most centres have no safe place to keep them) |
Your admit card will list the instructions for your term. If anything there differs from this table, follow the admit card.
A Simple Exam-Week Checklist
- A day or two before the first paper: visit your exam centre so you know the route and how long it takes.
- The night before each paper: pack your admit card, ID and stationery in one pouch. Sleep on time.
- On the day: reach at least 30–45 minutes early. Late entry is restricted, and the gates close strictly.
- After each paper: don't go through the answers with friends. Go home, eat, rest, then revise for the next paper.
